preping the car for nitrous
preping the car for nitrous
I have a question I'm building a 1987 Chevy Camaro Z28 for a drag car. I built a 383 to run on nitrous for the car. It will be getting a 150 horse shot. My goal for the car is to run high 9s low 10s. My question is what else should I do to prep the chassis so it doesn't flex. I already put in a set of competition engineering weld in frame ties and im going to put in either an 8 or a 10 point roll cage. Any advice would be appreciated.

Aftermarket torque arm made a big difference in my car...

Subframes and a 10 point cage should be sufficient. Aside from that, any suspension pieces you can replace with aftermarket the better. Focus on rear suspension first. Need a th400 and a 9" or 12 bolt with a good converter. ($500+)
