Need help choosing an engine to build.

Just picked up a d1sc supercharger kit for third gen camaro, still hunting around for the right car to start building. Trying to decide on what engine to build for this supercharger kit.

I do have some goals for this build, so I'm not too sure what's the best option for me.
-main goal is not to dump a fortune into this build lol
-has to be a 6spd, t56. Depending on what year block I may need to use that 700107 cf flywheel which is an added cost
-looking for over 600whp, this is why I added a new dart block as an option, but again it's a huge cost, but I'd rather do it right the first time. Is 600whp too much on a stock sbc?
-want to keep it EFI, so I'll have to decide on that later.

Here are a few options that I have. I'd like to just get my hands on a short block and build up from there how I need, which is why Im looking at these used engines.

- 383 stroker, pre 86 block, not sure on the internals, only comes as a short block, so I'd have to decide on heads and intake, probably go with afr 195's and a mini ram. Can have the 383 for 700$ Canadian.

- 350 pre 86 block, 4bm, needs a rebuild. Can have it for 500$ Canadian, would be a good base to build on.

- 02 LS1, has a broken rod and scorned #7 cylinder, needs to be resleeved. Can have this engine for 500$ Canadian. Was told a machine shop can resleeve it for 300$, then would need to rebuild the whole bottom end. Would then probably need a different procharger bracket to mount to the ls1, as the procharger is set up for a l98.

- dart little m with either a 4.000 bore or 4.125, ranging from 23-2800$ US from summit racing.

I've already done an ls swap into a third gen, so I know the swap costs, but Im comfortable with a swap like that.

My only concerns are I've never built an engine, like hands on built from pan up, this will be my first. Have to learn somewhere right? That being said, goes without saying I've never built an engine for boost before. The LS1 I could figure out fairly easy, I've done plenty of research on parts for that. But the older engines I'm sorta lost. I've read a bunch of threads on here and I have a decent idea of what I want to do, nufnuffz28's camaro is what inspired this build, so I'd probably go older small block with afr heads, some variation of efi intake and the D1SC.

If you guys were in my position, which route would you go? How would you build the engine you pick?

Since you already have done a LSx swap. I would get a 4.8/5.3/6.0 out of a used truck and make a bracket for the D1SC.
What engine mounts did you use for the thirdgen LS swap? The 1" setbacks or stock location for the engine?
