header horse power

Hey, i got some shory headers and I want to know how much HP it should give me. The cat is cut out of my car and that goes back to a flow-master cross flow muffeler. But im cutting that crap out when I put the headers in and making dual striaght pipes.

By the way, People have told me that I might have to lift the engine to put my header on. Id this true? I have a L98 350 in a 87 iroc.
