Question for anyone. Has anyone installed a torqstorm supercharger on their camaros. I know you have to buy the general sbc kit from them. If you installed the kit would like to see pics of the installation. Looking to do something different

 

Check out my thread in the LS engine swap forum section. I just bolted my LS universal torqstorm supercharger on my 5.3. Almost done with the swap so it should be done within the next couple of months.

 

I have a 350 tpi engine. How much did you have to pay in the all the extra stuff you needed to make it run right. Rick from torqstorm said I would have to change the whole assescory assembly. Don't know what that would run me

 

Not sure the differences between the LS and the SBC/TPI kit but I have a hybrid kit. Mines a mix of the GTO kit and Silverado. Since my motor was out of a 99 Silverado I just reused all the original acessories. Well didn't reuse them but it's all in stock location. I replaced the 150k 100amp alt with a 130amp, swapped the waterpump for an LS1 style and got truck waterpump spacers. Then the kit basically bolted on and all the spacing is correct as it's based off the truck accessories. The GTO part of the kit is the lower mount SC bracket and longer front mounted charge pipe designed to fit under the stock GTO hood, which I wanted so it would fit under the stock hood on the outer portions of the hood. I run a 4" cowl hood but the SC outlet is by the strut tower and needs to clear the stock hood there as the cowl doesn't reach that far over.

Gotta see what he says. U might just need a serpentine setup but no idea on that as his SBC it is based off carb if I remember.

 

**** I guess I didn't respond to how much. I paid $2900 shipped and it came with everything. I didn't have to change anything for it to fit. I spent about $200 on new accessories and Tstat.
