GPH intank pump, run stand alone Fuel for Nitrous
Hello All,
I have a Walbro 255LPH intank pump currently, this works out to be 67 GPH. General rule of thumb is 10HP per gal. My car currently has 450-475 crank, so 45-50 GPH is my current fuel demand. If I were to put 125 shot on my motor, this would another 12 GPH demand... putting this real close to the full demand of the walbro 255 intank pump. Am I missing something here, as far as, capability @ a lower PSI than the 255LPH is actually rated for flow? Would I be ok or should I add a stand alone fuel tank/pump?
Thank you!

It should be ok. Flow varies with pressure. I ran a 255 at 40 psi witha 383 that was around 475 hp maybe 500 and a 150 shot. Was fine

To feel better about this, would anyone know the GPH for 255LPH @ 60PSI down to what it would be at 6-7 PSI?

11.47 at 119 all motor in the heat. Never ran in cold air. Nitrous it went 10.63 at almost 127. 4th or 5th pass on the bottle. Was trapping 128 on fresh bottle but i wasnt spraying off the hit. Went 1.41 and 1.45 60’s with the nitrous hitting at wot immediately, no delay

cool. what rear gear ratio are ya running? I went with a 3.55 since my car is a multipurpose street/strip/autox/show/cruise car. if it were just strictly a drag car, I might have went with different rear gear ratio. Mine weighs 3,430 pounds without me in it, so, plus 190 lbs of me, somehow I hope to get to an 11.99 with the 531 crank hp I have and 3600 converter in a probuilt 700r4
anyways, back to the GPH topic for the OP, i think a 25 would be good for you, but why not just go with a 340 pump ?
