I have a dry system that hooks up to the fuel pressure regulator, but I'm not getting enough fuel pressure to support the 100 shot on NOS i'm feeding through the intake.

word is that the GM fuel pumps will not support much over 45 psi, so I need an inline to boost that. BBK has been recomended to me by a local shop, but I want to know what some of you guys are using.

I want something that comes with all the plumbing hardware and wiring that is needed to install it.

NOS sells a higher pressure inline fuel pump as part of the stage two section for the mustang 5115 that will work. also a t-rex from vortech superchargers or the pro-pump from procharger.

 

I run a GM Buick Grand National in-tank with a T-Rex in-line pump. Two years now and have had no problems. Just make sure to rewire the pumps for maximum voltage. This is easy to do. You can always e-mail me for specifics.

 

What do you mean max voltage?? Also, I use a pump from Rich at cruzin performance. I believe it is the same one that other companies sell, just without the mark-up.

 

Does that one come w/ all the hardware for installation? (The one from Cruzin Prof.?)

Would you be able to elaborate on wiring the pumps for maximum voltage? Is it also referred to as installing a "hotwire"? I was considering the KB Boost-a-pump but if this is essentially the same thing I might be able to save myself $230.

 

Don't hold me to this but I think Willie means to use the old wiring to trip a relay that is connected to the batt/fuel pump with bigger wire. This is done to keep the voltage higher at the end of the wire length while only turning the pump on when it should be on. Many rice guys use this to support turbo setups and what not. Dont forget the longer a wire is the less voltage you will see at the other end.(This is kinda the short version)
