Yes the LT1 can hold boost, how much and how long is a different story, play at your own risk, geeze its racing, this kit I believe will fit, the f body kits seem like they will have fitment issues with the 3rd gen steering box that the 4th gen doesnt have due to its rack and pinion setup.

Hey look its a powerjunk!
Seriously, that looks like it would work, but I dont think id ever put a powerdyne on anything I own. they are as bad as Paxtons.

Yea but its the only one that would work, the ATI and Vortech makers for the Impy seem to have died, plus i've seen good things on my friends stang with his, and im waiting to see whats up with their new XB gear driven unit, cuz I aint going without an intercooler.

I wouldnt trust the belt driven ones they make. There were 3 mustangs locally that had powerjunks on them and they all broke the belt.
I havent heard anything about their gear driven ones though.

What boost level were they running ? So far my friend was running 11 psi pulley on his with no probs, i swore he'd break it but its still together, hopefully that gear drive one will work well, im also worried about how that small belt will work on it, they say its good to 18 psi as far as the unit itself, i want to start with 7 # cooled and go to 12-14 with new motor, hopefully some good things will come of it.

www.impalasuperstore.com click that and you'll see the link at the top, if you want to do like im doing and buy the bracket etc seperate and get the gear driven unit and fab to your own intercooler email me and i'll give you the kit makers number, it was somewhere near 600 for the bracket pulley's idler, belt, bolts etc. then just under 2k for the new gear driven pd plus fabbing up your piping and IC, the kit from imp store comes with a reprogram from ed wright etc.
