Vortech cog pulleys

I am selling my cog setup, and may be willing to sell the whole Vortech setup.Sorry to post this on this board, but figure it may help someone out who is looking for a supercharger. The charger itself is a Vortech Y/S-trim, capable of 1500cfm, and can produce up to 1000hp. The cogs are used, but are flawless. The Y/S-trim is a brand new head unit, polished by Vortech, with NO run time or dyno tyme. Brackets are all custom made from T6061 billit aluminum. If anyone has any questions about the cogs or the complete setup, feel free to ask. Thanks, Don Barnett
Cogs- $450.00 o.b.o.
complete package- $2800 o.b.o
Pics available upon request.

B4Ctom1, Yes this is the kit that was shown in a previous post, I have only one pic right now that is small enough to post. It does not show the tensioner in this pic, but I can snap some shots tomorrow. There is also a pic of the setup on the stand at- http://members.telocity.com/~89proch...otor_pics.html I'll get some more pics up tomorrow for you. Later,DonBarnett

I would be mostly concerned about the "special parts" commitment as it applys to the front of the engine (acessories) or any radiator, core or body interference and do you run a stock type motormount layout and/or k-member setup (no engine plate, right?). and what about the hood (for the blower interference, not your intake)?

B4Ctom1,
With this setup, I am running the PA k-member, and solid motor mounts. The engine is in it's factory location, as is the radiator. This setup will work with the factory hood(My intake will not!). You are correct in the fact that you would have to make a commitment and run some aftermarket accesories. I am curently running only running the altenator and the supercharger. That is the setup. It has some drawbacks, but it is capable of producing big horsepower #'s. If you have any specific questions about the setup, feel free to ask.
Later,
Don Barnett
