Nice, let us know how you like it, I was looking at either that or the F1R for the new project.

It doesnt look like they are offering the D1X any longer. Just the D1R and F1R in that size.

ATI is slowly phasing out all of their oil units

in about a year to year and a half, you wont be able to buy an oil fed blower from them

The f1r and d1r are not self contained are they?

The F-1R is self contained, but the D-1R is not

I saw those brackets for your YS trim so yo have the ability to make some obviously. But I am thinking more along the line of F1sc because of the size match to the D1sc and it is the largest that I can instal in a "standardized" fitting kit (the one for the D1sc).

just found out f1r is the replacement for the d1x. Same flow figures etc. Cost 400 more though. I guess thats for it being self contained? I'll still be getting the d1x.

The f-series blowers also have a double bearing for the main bearing

its a "bearing in a bearing"

The F1R is also self contained and has a 5.0:1 step up ratio which takes less power to turn then the D1X.

It's not like your not getting something for your money

I was told they are not making a specific third gen kit for the f1r? I would be anxious to see your progress with the install.

Didnt mean to leave you out of the loop. I only sent the pics to three people, so youre not the only one who didnt get them. The pics were intended for Larry at ASSC so he could understand some of the differences and issues that I am having with the new setup.

These pictures are very rough. I didnt even have a cog pulley for the blower itself. I was using a fuel jug cap in the pics because it has a 4 " diameter. The bracket itself was being held on by two bolts.

I received the new 40 t pulley on Friday. I'll be working on the car Monday and Tuesday to get the sub bracket and main bracket finalized. I just need to drill one hole and modify the tensioner a little bit. Looks like it's all going to work. The bracket is a work of art.

I'll be taking new pics this week. I'll be posting them as soon as I can.
