SC For 86 T/A

Does anyone make a supercharger for an 86 t/a. It has the battery on the driver side and the only sc i have seen for these cars is for the cars with the battery on the other side.

I will assume this is a TPI car and tell you about how the blower manufacturers upon realizing that the non serpentine TPI cars were only made for 3 years and mostly in 305 decided to discontinue the kits for the 85-86-87 years but there is still a option. converting to the 88-92 serpentine accessories and brackets. this will allow you to run the vortech-ATI procharger-paxton kits.

The serpentine swap can be done for about $200.

The supercharger package about $3000. Injectors and a custom PROM would put the cost up more.

I just bought a Paxton for an 85' Iroc last April. It is a SN-2000 for a non serpentine set-up. They probably have 1 for your set-up.

when I called paxton they said "no more left". I did a inventory search and found only summit had one, that was almost a year ago-sorry. but get paxtons vendor list and call them all, also keep an eye on ebay. even if someone sells you an SN series kit you could rebuild and upgrade to the NOVI series maybe.
