i'm still confused...

in the 7 months i have been on this website, i have yet to figure out how one becomes a moderator. does anyone know? i am sure that every moderator knows how they became one. Do you just one day become one cuz dirk or brad picked you? or do you request to become one? howcome some boards only have one, when they need two, or some boards have lots, and only need one (racing boards).

Someone please inform me. thx

-Josh

You obviously have to have a good reputation and want to make sure the rules of the site are followed. Some mods are picked, but most people have to ask. Some boards need more mods for obvious reasons and sometimes it depends on how many people asked and got accepted.
