Doing a search for 2 letters

This is really just a small thing, but I'm having troubles with some searches because of the minimum required characters. I was looking for "SS Hood Pics", but I couldn't do it because it won't search for 'SS', not enough characters. I've come to find out that this keeps coming up over and over on searches. "SS" "RS" "86" ...etc. Is there a reason for this? I hate looking at every hood pic in here trying to find the SS hood.

I don't know the reason, maybe to cut down on the number of topics it brings up? But if you want to search with 2 letters words or whatever then put an * with them, like SS*.

well see, I try that but everytime I search with wildcard characters, the search always brings up the same "This Page Cannot Be Loaded" screen. It seems somewhere it times out, but I have a DSL connection, so I can't imagine that being the problem. A few times I have actually made it through a search with SS*, but I only got SS-hood, not SS Hood. I just think it makes it a little difficult when trying to search for specific (spelling?) criteria. As a programmer in training, I've written a couple of searches for different programs that I have made, and I just can't see the logic in it. Does there really need to be a minimum length?

it makes searching for years hard to, when I post a year I do 2 digits, cause everyone knows what century Im talkin about.

so if you type it in the searches it should be able to be the same.

I forgot all about that, It took me forever to find out how to put 92 style ground effects on a 86 z28. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one having troubles.
