this place is about helping people with fbodys,not ridiculing people for not buying a v8.most moderaters dont even seem to understand that.


i just want a place on here where us duke guys can discusse our motors and not your v8 .

the v6 forums allready seem out of place,lets just go the rest of they way and make them the ''not v8''boards.


the fiero forums dont have any knowledge of fbody specific dukes. the engines in the fieros were front weel drive motors and the s10s are diffrent as well.


if you dont like ,i dont care, but people who just talk **** and tell me to just get a v8 are much more of a troll then i ever could be.


im just trying to help a small segment of the fbody population.

but if its any consulation, i think that the V8s that came in these cars were crap too.

 

all the early fbodys were seriously underpowered.

why does gm screw themselves so much?

they could have had half a dozen better motors then the pushrod v8 and pushrod v6 and pushrod four banger.



the cosworth is proof of that.

 

No, they couldn't. They put out as much power as they could given the technology which was available at the time to meet the emissions requirements at the time.

 

gm also said building a freonless ac was impossible.

two kids just made one and won a ton of schiolarships and contracts.

gm is usualy wrong and slow to change.

they refuse to look ahead and plan for it.then they have to play catch up with the rest of the car world.


like fuel economy, like they didnt know gas wouldnt get more expensive.
now they are reduced to a joke,all their sales are slumping,they have been reduced to junk stock status.


gas has been going up in price for five straight years,and they still dont have any solutions to get better milage then a worthless copy cat hybrid that wont be out for another 2 years.


suv sales are falling like stones while hybrids are sold out.


if gm would pull its head from its own *** they might be able to lead a trend in car tech,and not just follow the japanese.
