Posts do not count in the classified boards, or problem / help / suggestions / comments board, and may be more. They only count in tech related forums.

if they only count on topics with tech. content then how can you tell if you should buy somthing from someone? i have replied to alot of posts on this site for parts wanted sold alot of stuff posted for sale ads and none of that counts ! that is what everbody looks at when they buy from you. i have been a member of this site for a long time and get no credit as far as some people are concerned. i think the for sale ads and the wanted ads should count as posts

Honestly, in my small opinion, one's post count is irrelevant and their join date is more important.

i'd rather buy from someone who has been around for a few years (such as yourself), rather than one who has 100 posts that could be a bunch of useless comment/replies making up that post count.

yes that is how i feel . unfortunetly alot of the people who buy here dont . they look at you posts. and as far as posts making you a senior member that is bull it should be the length of time you have been on the sit e or somthing more relivent to the site. i mean i am a junior member been here almost 2to 3 years sold alot of stuff. but just because i dont ask questions about the third gen cars i dont get credit for being a member. i dont need nobodys help when it comes to a camaro or ta! :

Then thats why we have the classified ad feedback board here for. I could go and post the letter a on all open topics to get my posts up but thats not going to tell you what my buying/selling reputation is. Im not trying to be mean here just telling you my opnion about post counts.
