Well just to maybe get some direction on who actually prefers what since one thread has everyone bashing the red and another where everyone likes it.
Then i guess this can help the guys out if they should keep it red or go black.
Or they can just delete my thread and tell everyone to suck it up...

So we have very few votes in comparison to the number of active members in this forum. Which I would assume that many people here just roll with the changes. Good for them!
I'll toss out one last question.
From a user friendly P.O.V., assuming you have no idea how a BulletinBoard / Forum works, but you comprehend how a vast majority of webpages are setup (that being links are different color than the normal text).
How the heck do you know where to click if all text on the page was one solid color??? (and mouse over and underline text are not valid answers)

why not blue font? The dark red and black don't contrast as well as blue would. Then you could have a red, white, and blue theme, i dont know - colors of the camaro emblem?
I really don't care. The site is great.

I actually like the blue idea alot and I also appreciate the fact that you gave me a reason behind it, rather than just stating "gimme blue links", thank you for the common courtesy.
How about when you mouse over a link, it turns from dark blue to red. Just to make it more visible when mousing over.
Or maybe go from dark blue to light blue.

I'd like to suggest just having the new style and the old styles as user-selected forum themes. The new style could be the default - then all of the users are satisfied.

The other day when I logged on and the font was red, I thought I was having a stroke or something. The red isn't too bad, but it messes with my eyes a little bit. If it has to be red, fine. The site is still the best around. But I would really prefer black. In my case, it is just a lot easier on my eyes. I like the other changes with the drop-downs, though.

agreed. the blue is much better. Its a visual clarity thing, the red makes it tough to see, some kind of contrast phenomenon of the human eye. Appreciate the change!!!
