SIGNATURE WONT SHOW UP
Why did you make it a feature so that you have to click Show Signature everytime you post......I always forget and hate that because I really like my SIG. Anyway....make it so they always show up....I mean that or keep the box checked because the other boxes below Show Signature are ALWAYS CHECKED.....NOT THE Disable Smilies.

I agree, I love my sig....I hate having to go back and edit a post to add it...I searched and searched for a '[ ] Always show signature' option in the user CP, lol, thought maybe mine was just goofy.

I think it's fine the way it is. We don't need to see everyones sig everytime they post. Once in a while will do just fine. I tend to remember people by their avatar, so get a cool one of those!

I usually use someone's sig image for the same reason, as I guess im just so lazy as Id rather continue scrolling down a page than to look to the left to see their avatar. Not to say anything bad, but looking all the way across a 24" widescreen becomes a hassle...
The requirement to select "Show Your Signature" each time you post a reply, has been something TGO has done for *years* to help minimize (in any small way) people posting their same signature over and over and over in the same thread, making the thread longer, thus, necessary to scroll. Not everyone has a 24" widescreen.
To my knowledge, it does not plan to change. Once again, it's something TGO has done for years and despite some disagreement here, there was quite a bit agreement for the feature at the time.

Then why not limit sigs? Or take them out and have people update their profile with the stuff in their sigs. Ah well I'll get over it. Just thought something was wrong with the site functions.
There is already some restrictions on signatures. If you mean by having a limit for 1 signature per thread by the same user, that option doesn't exist in the default vB configuration. While I'm sure there is a hack/plugin available, that leads to more queries, which can lead to problems.
As you read, nothing is wrong with the site functions. It's been that way for a few years. The way it currently is helps minimize the signature usage, to some degree, without adding extras to vB.

Its a good way to have it setup too!
One signature per thread is enough, any more and it just clutters it up
Im sure not having a signature at every reply greatly reduces server load and bandwidth usage too...

Why is it the people with the longest and/or most annoying signature always want their sig after every post? As said above, we only need to see your signature once per thread. After that its annoying to have to scroll past it every time, not to mention the extra server load and space it takes up.
