General Topic or Misc Topic section

Why not make a General Topic or Misc, section where people can shoot the breeze and post things that really have no defined section?

I believe that would benefit the forums more, because people can get to know each other better, therefore forming better bonds.

Some topics that could go in the General sections could include and obviously not be limited to:

Why did you want a thirdgen?
What makes thirdgens the best gen?
Thirdgen related videos (perhaps a defined media section dedicated to videos of thirdgen related purposed only)
Bios
etc

This will probably be shot down, but I have always hoped for a section as this. I once owned an eclipse and on DSMtuners.net they had a section called
"the hangout" which was anything goes as long as it did not violate the board rules. Which were just as strict.

Please at least consider it for a moment and if denied atleast explain why?

Thanks!

Have you read the following (sticky) post? Answers are given in this sticky post:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/prob...-non-tech.html

It has been addressed many times by the TGO staff, and there is even a sticky about this as mentioned above. It's been explained numerous times. TGO, at one time, had an off-topic section. It did not work out. Since then, TGO has remained "tech-only" and has done well by doing do so.
