Did I miss a thread or something about this...?
I used to be able to hit Advanced Search and then Search Titles only and whatever I put in the search box had to be in the title or it would not come up in search. Well I'm looking for information about my digital dash since no one replied to my thread (Well actually, this problem is why I made a thread without extensive searching in the first place).

If I put the forum on Interior, and just type digital in the search box, WITH search titles on, I get a bunch of crap, "Exotic Interior?" "Lighting it up blue." "grant steering wheel button on apc wheel?" ETC ETC. This is not how it used to be, I am just looking for theads with titles that people posted with the word digital, or digital dash..

Is this an ongoing forum problem? I looked on the first page here, I'd search, but I'm sure it'll come up with alot of crap that I'm not looking for..

 

I'm reasonably sure it is this thing called a "bug". It happens.

Yah.. just making sure I'm not doing something wrong and that it's known about since I couldn't find any threads on it

 

I've been having the same problem ever since the search came back online.

 

i have the same problem, whether i choose "search titles only" or "search entire post" it always searches the entire post. its been doing this for about a month to me. but if you cant seem to find what you want, you can also try going to google.com and put in the search box
"site:www.thirdgen.org search terms here" without the quotes. it works out quite well sometimes, but other times, not so well. it just a temporary fix till the "bug" can be fixed
