What I've noticed so far..

Well being new here I've really learned a lot about thirdgens. I mean, thats what the forum is about right? Seem though, thats ALL that is talked about here.

Why isn't there a general discussion board? You know, to talk about world issues, new personal happening or exciting purchases (besides cars), interesting interweb finds, things of that nature?

Theres also not a newb introductions forum. Seems all the new people, myself included, post there introductions, giving a little info about themselves and their cars, and are bashed for posting in the wrong section, or worse, not using the search. Mind you that might be a little over exaggerating, but you get the idea.

I'm not new to internet forums and message boards. I've been in art communities since the age of twelve. Just strange not to see these here.

this is a thirdgen forum and we only talk about thirdgens . yeah that is pretty weird . think about it , 95% or more of us love our cars and want to learn all we can about them . is it really so weird for a forum to be what it is supposed to be ? i think not , but thats just my opinion .

Ofcourse not, not at all infact. It just seems that if your not talking about cars here, your not talking at all.

There are many great people here, some just learning, and some we're learning from. I just dont think that their whole lives revolve around their car. Just as these people have open discussions about cars and engines, why cant they talk to the same people about politics, a new TV show, their favorite foods?

There are tens of thousands of places on the Internet to talk about any or all of those things, so why does the world need one more?

Please take the time to read the "sticky" (Important/Useful) threads. The answer to your question was already covered in one of them:

Thanks.
