how do the infractions work?
im just curious because today i posted on a thread which was spam and i posted basically this is a pointless thread which will be locked and i recieved a spamming infraction for it? are there rules on posting in spam threads or was this a mistake on a mods behalf because if it is can i apeal or have the infraction disregarded? thanks btw the thread im talking about is this one:https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/elec...ml#post3615675

I don't understand the need for replying to those posts.
Did you report the post/thread? Reporting the post is far better than simply posting in the thread and adding to the "junk".
It only takes a few seconds to click on this image
and enter a brief reason, rather than posting a reply to the thread and not only adding to the "junk", but possibly increasing the time before the thread is resolved by moderation by finding it on their own or until someone else reports the thread/post.

If you have a moderator issue or issue/question about "policy", it should not be posted here. Instead, it should be brought forth to the moderator and/or an administrator such as myself.
