Drop down adds
What is up with the drop down adds? I got on today, and every few times I click on a thread, a stupid drop down add jumps on my page. I have to either click closed, or click the page again. Not a big deal, but its annoying. I come here to read about ways to mod my car, not dodge a bunch of pop-up adds from a phone service provider.

Re: Drop down adds
Thank you 84 redTA. After I said something, I couldnt get it to do it for anything. There was also a few for Sprint, I think. It was a phone service.
Re: Drop down adds
Thanks for the screen capture. I'm told the issue was taken care of. If there is any more such ads with that behavior, please provide a screen capture so we can consult with advertising and match up the ad in question.

Re: Drop down adds
I found it amusing and a little disturbing in a way that two of the ads, one banner and one side banner drop down ad were WaMu banking ads, given that WaMu was nationalized on Monday and swallowed up by Morgan Stanley. Guess that advertising continues even if the company goes under; if the money has already been paid for the advertising, it will run until it's time for renewal apparently. Try not to let the ads annoy you. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff and pretty much everything is "small stuff" really. Have a great day!
