ttt and bump

what does bump an ttt mean?

TTT = To The Top
Bump = Same purpose as "TTT"

By default, threads are displayed and sorted in order of last time/date of the last response in the thread. Therefore, if a thread hasn't received responses for a while, it begins to drop down further the list as other threads are created or replied to (newer threads).

Some authors of threads post a "TTT" or "bump" to bring their thread back near the top, largely because the thread may not have received any responses or a lack of responses and has started to drop down the list as other threads are created or responded to.

However, we do not allow excessive "TTT" or "bump" posts as that obviously pushes older threads down the list. Generally, it is best to wait atleast 24 hours from the last date of response in a thread before you post a "TTT" or "bump" - if required.
