Third Gen Pre-Purchase Inspection Forum.

On another site I frequent, there is a forum organized by region. Basically, if you are willing to check out a car for someone who is not local or if you need a car checked out for you by a member who is close to the car, you post in the forum.

Here's an example of how it's organized. http://theamcforum.com/forum/amc-pre...s_forum43.html

I think something like that would be a good addition to TGO.

What do we think?

On another site I sometimes visit there is a a Pre-Purchase inspection forum. It is basically broken down by region and if you are willing to check out a car near for a forum member far away, or you would like someone to check out a car near them, before you go across the country to buy it, you post there/\.

It's organized something like this: http://theamcforum.com/forum/amc-pre...s_forum43.html

Re: Third Gen Pre-Purchase Inspection Forum.

Charlie, your link doesn't work because the forum you linked to requires membership (registration) or higher to view.

That said, there is nothing preventing, and nothing wrong with, members using the current Regional sections for asking help with inspections. In fact, that is what I thought would occur there, along with discussion of local meets, suggestions of repair shops, etc.

What change is needed?
