About this years winner:
Hopefully this years COTY winner will be chiming in shortly, but what his car represents to me is a Third Gen that is more than meets the eye. Frankly, I was a bit surprised to see this car take off in the poll the way it did. At a glance, with its 4" cowl hood / slicks in the back / sorta skinnies in the front, and grainy pics - I woulda had this car pegged as a prototypical Pro-Street build. I would have guessed a big-block Chevy, big-*** Holley carb, and nitrous. I would not have guessed a very clean, very slick twin-turbo small block. From what I've seen, this car cruises at around 1700 RPMs @ 50 mph and does8ghtsin the 1/4 mile. Way to represent!
