If you really really really need to have your post counts re-set, let me know what you had before and I can make adjustments.

I was wondering what happened. I had just hit 3400 posts when I lost my phone line for a couple of weeks, and when I come back... 2250. What caused the problem?

'Bout 500 or so for me. However I am about to start a new self-imposed rule: I propose that we all work on our cars for 20 minutes for each post. This will improve the quality of our cars, as well as the quality of the posts as we gain knowledge. In addition, we wont waste our time with little "me-too" messages like this very one!
Okay, time to go wrench.. I think I'll retard my cam to 108 degrees and see what happens.. That ought to be worth 12 posts!

Why do people count posts. What effect does it have on anything. Why does it mater if ya lost a few. I don't think anyones dick shrunk or ***** shrivled up from it How do people find time to work on there cars if they are to busy posting suff all the time.
Take all of this thred for instance almost every one on this tread is posting posts about lost posts, and some wantiing posts back like it makes their car faster. How about a little bit more time in the garage.
It is just a post number, but I am just a junior member, Oh well. some one can have my posts if it makes em feel better. Are people here to talk about cars or to out do each other in post numbers?

guess what? I spent 20 minutes finding some lost horsepower: The dist. liked another 4 degrees of ignition advance. I might crank another 4 degrees in and see what happens, but I'll wait for the track times first.
That said, not to cause a controversy, but we all should be at LEAST striving to noodle with the motors, or striving to find that better finish, or that better stereo sound, and use the boards as a primary research tool and place of learning. Use it as a social venue only as a secondary function. This is only my opinion so you dont have to agree with it as long as you dont **** on it.

I didn't say posting wasn't a big deal, just counting your posts like a merrit badge seems silly. Don't really see what it matters if you have 200 or 2000 posts.
And I posted before only after spending 11hrs under a buddies 97' mustang, screwing with a tranny(don't ask). Clutch won't disenguage now and every thing is working as advertised just wont disenguage. talked to ford and now mabey we put in a V6 pressure plate and clutch in a GT. So more fun today pulling the tranny back out. This mustang is making me love my camaro even more .
