Beep wont turn off
Hi guys. I have a 90 maro and I just installed all new gauges so I rewired everything since the car isnt exactly stock. Now after install whenever the ignition is on, even while running the beep sound(that come son when you leave headlights on) is always on. I was wondering what could cause this.
Vats is disabled and never had this issue before along witht he air bag system being removed. The ECM is not hooked up since I converted the car to carb. I dont wanna just cut the wire to the beeper since I dont wanna leave headlights on by accident. Maybe one of the stock gauge connectors needs to see resistance?
Thanks

Re: Beep wont turn off
The beeper (aka door chime module) is plugged into the convenience center above the pedals, toward the center of the vehicle. You can unplug it and check the signals on all the inputs for the module to see which one is causing the chime to come on.
