TPI throttle body cover plate?

Does anyone know where I can get a polished TPI tb cover plate with an engraved red chevy bowtie? Jeg's sells one for about $50, but I would think they are out there for less...Help!

I don't know of any other places, but you could check out ebay, they might have something.

I just checked them out. They are too expensive for me. They want $55-$65 for an aluminum plate! I guess I'm stuck with the $47 plate from Jeg's. Jeg's probably gets the plates from them anyway! Oh well...

Does anyone have any pics of their TPI plate besides it saying tuned port injection. I actually saw one on the show "Horsepower t.v" and the tuned port motor had this nice Black plate with the slive SLP logo on it. I would call SLP but dont have the # is there another place besides jeggs. No offense i just cant take it with their sales departement.

SLP's website is www.slponline.com

From what I hear, an LT1 plate is the same as a TPI plate.

I thought so too, but an LT1 plate wouldn't fit on my '91. The plate was thicker, the hole spacing was slightly different, and the LT1 plate had squared off corners as opposed to the rounded corners on the 3rd gen plate.. As mentioned above, MBA will do it for you, but they're not cheap...

My bud had a custom plate made by MBA for me, it looks totally killer, I love it. I can take a pic of it for anyone interested. I'm not sure how to post though It's anodized red to match my Red Z and it has the "25th Anniversary Z28" logo on it exactly like it should be....it was like $80 or so, but I'm crazy for little things that set my car apart for the standard Z, so it was well worth it to me.

I have a stock LT1 plastic plate on my throttle body, so LT1 plates should fit.
