Re: Post Your Carb'd Motor Pics
Here's a picture of a 355 I built back in 1999. 12:1 compression ratio, TRW forged dome pistons, Chevy pink rods, ARP bolts, ported 2.02/1.60 Bowtie heads milled to 62cc, solid roller cam, Team G intake, Cloyes double roller timing chain. Ran 11.10's - 11.00's at 119 mph. 1.54 60' times. Later slapped a set of Dart builders heads on there and Improved to 10.8's.
I'll have to get my 305 pics up

Re: Post Your Carb'd Motor Pics
Here is my son's in his 1986 Z-28. It's a 355 with TRW Forged Flat Tops, polished GM pink rods, GM 492 heads w dual springs, guide plates and screw in studs, Comp 292 cam - degreed in, Cloyes Double roller timing set, 1.5 Roller Rockers, Wieand Single plane manifold and a 770 Holley Street Avenger on it. All Balanced and Blueprinted. Its his toy that we built together. Fast as all get outs and backed by a Tremec TKO600RR going to a 3:23 posi. Shifts at 7000. Haven't got it to the track yet but we suspect 11's the way it runs.

Re: Post Your Carb'd Motor Pics
the holley in this pic is junk. waiting for a new carb.
but, it's a 350 L Code crate engine. ported and polished heads. mid length headers. .468 lift cam. edelbrock torker2 manifold. 1" carb spacer. running AC Delco plugs with 8MM wires. Lightweight flywheel.
Mated to a T-5 manual trans
**this was also before i had a chance to clean up the new wiring and do some more cleaning and make it look pretty. this is right after i test fired the engine and broke in the cam.

That isn't a Torker II intake in your picture (which I would consider a good thing, by the way...).
