This is my 91 Firebird. Just picked it up this morning. She looks and runs pretty good for the price I paid Has a small ding here and there, but nothing very bad. Paid $800 for it. Engine and body have 80k original miles. I think I got a pretty damn good deal
very very nice lordphat, for 800 is a steal. Paid 1400 for mine but I got doors free to replace the bad one's. Good looking car though post some int. pix
I'm trying to fix a cooling problem I am having at idle. I plan on buying a new radiator, but can someone also post a picture of the front air dam on their car?? I have the center piece but aren't there 3 pieces??

If it's at idle then I presume you're not moving in which case the airdam isn't the issue.

Yes, which is why I am changing out the radiator. I worded that wrong. The air dam I know isn't the problem but I read these cars came with 3 pieces, I only have 1. Just making sure.

I know formula and bird noses are different... i never saw a formula with fog lights before... so i understand firebird fogs are installed here but what about the grills... are they modified or OEM? Looks cool..

So, so many cool 91+ Birds! [Special shout out to DAVECS1 and iansane... wow!!]
I've been a member here at TGO for quite a few years. I had a 1990 IROC-Z, a white 83 Z28, and most recently a blue 84 Z28. Sadly I had to sell those. But I got back into another thirdgen a few months ago, with this 1991 Trans Am I got locally thru Craigslist. It runs like a champ for a car with over 100k miles... although it's sorely in need of new paint. Everything in due time

Hey thanks! I appreciate that!

If you weren't in Illinois I'd give you one of my spares! Ever since my first total, I keep a couple spare bumpers around juuuust in case. I'm trying to find as many spare front gfx pieces but I only have one passenger side.
Well being n Illinois most of them around here are messed up with license plate mountings. Go figure lol. My car makes it out of the garage so little any more. I think I could get away with a drop down plate. The clean nose just looks so good like on your car an Red90IROCs car.
I was never a fan of this style Firebird until I found this site a few months ago. Now they may be my favorite of the third gens. I think they benefit massively from the 4th gen rear spoiler and Corvette or 4th gen wheels as well as a slight drop in stance. Beautiful cars really.
i'll post all of my 91-92 cars. the green formula and the red GTA i no longer have but the white one is my current and the mods are in my sig for that one. so here we go
Heres my 92 Green with beachwood interior formula
Here is my red 91 GTA with a grey interior
And my current 92 Formula white with a black interior. mods are in my sig
This is my 1991 Formula 350 showcar. It recently had a 6 page article that was featured in the October, 2012 issue Of High Performance Pontiac magazine. The motor and suspension have all bolt-on performance parts from SLP, Edlebrock, Hotchkis, Borla, Alston and more. Would really like to see it in the COTM.

I've always loved the look of your car. You are the first person I've seen that has a braided Lokar cruise control cable other than my car. Is that spoiler a fourth gen or the the third gen one from Hawk's? I'd love to see some more details on that install.

Thanks for the kind words! The throttle cable is Lokar, but, believe it or not, the cruise cable is actually the factory piece! I had an aftermarket cruise control unit on my old 84 T/A and I did use a Lokar cable on that, it worked great!
The spoiler is an aftermarket fiberglass piece, but I cheated and bought it already mounted on the hatch lol! Install looks like it'd be fairly straightforward though!
