Hello from Switzerland

Hello F-Body community

My name is Kurt and I'm from the beautiful Switzerland.

For several years I'm a fan of American cars.
In my possession were already some Camaro's, GMC Van, Dodge Van, Jeep's and Corvette.
Currently I own a 1978 Ford Thunderbird and my beloved 1984 Chevy Camaro Z28E.

(Sorry for my bad english. Most of it I translated with Google translater.)

Here is a picture of my Camaro

Hi Guys

Last weekend I had sold the T-Bird.

First off, I exchanged the seats against 2 sports seats.

Also, the steering wheel was exchanged and replaced by a Grant steering wheel.

Re: Hello from Switzerland

After taste of different wheels, I decided for Centerline Scorpions.
Size:
Front 8x15 "ET0mm, 235 tires.
Rear 10x15 "ET0mm, 275 tires
The Camaro I bought still a chic hood, spoiler and USA side mirror.

Re: Hello from Switzerland

So ... it's to tell more of my '84 Camaro time.

In October 2009 I bought a '73 Camaro to.

In summer 2010, I swapped my '84 Camaro against a 76er Dodge Tradesman Van B200. In winter I sold the van again and bought a Jeep Wrangler. In the summer I sold the Jeep to a friend. As it so, I looked shortly thereafter a bit around the Internet and found a listing of my '84 Camaro. I immediately took could clock the vendor, with which I then made the exchange. We were very quick to agree and bought him back.

In the few years I have tried different wheel. In the end I had again got the original wheels. I painted black and missed on front and back track plates. He then very good to me.

In between time I painted the gray spoiler at the Camaro into black. On the side he has gotten the 2 black stripes. I sold shortly thereafter The Cowl Induction Hood and painted the original belongings in black.

In the meantime, the '73 Camaro sold again and added a 79er Corvette. Shortly thereafter, I have exchanged the '78 Ford Thundebrid I've sold again recently.

So that's it for today. Shortly I tell the story with super cool news.

In the meantime I bought in the summer of this 1969 Chevrolet C10 in Germany. I am now working, preparing the Chevy for the Swiss vehicle control before.
I hope that I can drive it legally end of April.

Re: Hello from Switzerland

Here are some pictures from the engine swap.
From a 305cui on a 400cui smallblock.
Besides the Camaro was lowered with Eibach springs.

The old engine is out.

Here the new old 400 cui engine from a 1973 Chevy vehicle.
He has a camshaft and injection of Edelbrock. The cylinder heads are of GM. Otherwise, the engine is original.

A new aluminum radiator I built a well.

A new strut bar found in the Camaro space.

A complete 3 "Hooker exhaust system was also installed.

A beautiful cars seats from a 98 Camaro found its way into my Camaro. It looks really nice and very convenient. The electrical functions in the seat run.

A shifter of B&M was also installed.

So ...... that would be time for today.

Re: Hello from Switzerland

GREAT LOOKING MODS! I can really appreciate the effort you are putting into your Camaro, as the price of parts must be VERY expensive due to shipping and import costs. I just sold my steering wheel (from my 1991 Firebird) to a person in FRANCE and the shipping cost was $145.00 by FedEx. It's amazing to see how the FBody cars are popular around the world.

Re: Hello from Switzerland

Thank you! :-)

Yes that spend a lot of money in it. I always try to stop when I order something to let send the goods via USPS or IParcel. Is a lot cheaper than FEDEX, UPS and the product is usually within a week with me.

Very cool. I visited Switzerland this past summer and it was the only I saw Camaro's in (both 5th generation cars). I would have freaked out if I saw a third generation car like yours. Very nice.
