Power steering pump o-ring to flared adapter STUCK!
How do you remove an o-ring to flared fitting adapter from the (back of) the high pressure port on a Saginaw type power steering pump?
It's a remanufactured pump straight out of the box and the adapter is stuck in there. I think if I can remove it then I can just plug in my stock o-ring type hoses and itll be good to go. Brass fitting stuck. This is the entire high pressure regulator removed from back of Saginaw style pump, if you dont know what im talking about here. And here is the adapter i am trying to remove so I can plug in my stock lines. Last time i had a new reman pump the fitting literally just fell out...

That's not an adapter, it's a flared fitting. Got the wrong pump from the looks of things. You can always just swap the inlet fitting, but if that's wrong, what else is wrong on that pump?

Thank you! Kindnof weird that this interchangeable part is not listed in the specifications of the pump online... Ordered the right part now from amazon or speedway motors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTDAFM5/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_BiymBbG90DHKG
