Well it's claimed to be a 1986 which might be what the VIN states but other than that, there's a lot of custom work.
Looks like it has 90-92 ground effects. It has Z28 badging but an RS grill. Looks like 4th gen interior. Looks like an LS series engine. Did they even make a 5.0L LS?? 4.8 or 5.3 is more common and the 6.0L is a high demand. The corvette covers mean nothing. You can put them on any LS engine.
Only $4950. What's wrong with it?? If that's the price for the car in the pictures, buy it now. It's worth more than that.

The inner fender wells in the engine bay are off. They don’t have the caster camber plates on top. Can’t tell if there’s a cover in there or if it’s something fabricated.
'98 TA wing on back with GTO badging on the rear lenses.
It is a mish-mash, but worth the asking if runs fair.
Cosmetic clean up and new wheels should improve it alot - and a vert!
The engine bay looks exactly like a 4th gen. Inner fenders, no caster/camber plate, location of the AC, location of the coolant overflow tank. I wonder if they stitched a front half of a 4th gen onto a 3rd gen. I wouldn't touch this car unless it was free.
The car has a ton of custom work, the front end was grafted on from a 4th gen . How well was the work done is the real question. The price is crazy cheap, hence why I say it's a scam
Seems like one of those shady buy-here-pay-here we can finance anyone! lots. Like a payday loan, check casing, title loan operation.
While I think it's interesting that someone took the time to adapt the 4th gen inner fenders and presumably the front suspension, I don't think I could trust the work without tearing the car apart to inspect the welds, and judge the integrity. The firewall and radiator support are stock, so maybe they just changed over from the lower frame rails up. Still, I wouldn't want to trust the work of someone with judgement so poor that they'd mix 4th gen Firebird styling with a 3rd gen Camaro convertible. It's the kind of thing that makes you want to just punch a baby in the face.
