No, it's white. Not really "arctic" "snow' white; kinda more like, refrigerator white. Almost "cream". Definitely an off-white.
The Camaro white in those years was more nearly pure white, but still not as white as some other cars.
The 2 hardest paint colors to match, are white and black.
Every single shade that every mfr has used on every single year of white or black car, is different. Plus, your eye is built to catch those variations, better than almost any other color except maybe green.
And yes, I think that was one of the sharpest TA colors in those years. The gold trim was a really nice color, much better than alot of the various "gold" shades that have been used over the years, and it set off both the white and the black that it came with, VERY well.
And yes also, the Camaro did indeed have a beige color for a year or 2, but it was quite a bit darker than this. It was almost a half-tan.

The 1984 Trans Am was available in either 11-White or 59-Beige with the optional W62 Aero package in Gold. I have the 1984 Pontiac product book and 11-White looks bright to me while the 59-Beige is not. To me the first photo is 11-White while the last one might be 59-Beige. The 1984 Trans Am 15th Anniversary looked bright white to me, too.

Re: 1984 trans am
It is a bit nutty, but the 3rd Gen Firebirds used:
1982-1985 code WA3967, RPO 11U White (off-white, not clear coat)
1986-1990 code WA8554, RPO 40U White (off-white, clear coat)(all F-Body cars now clear coat)
1991-1992 code WA9567, RPO 10U Bright White (clear coat)
However (and I know this thread was about a 1984 color), some late production 1985 Firebirds were painted in the new 1986 clear coat colors. The SPID label on those late production 1985 cars will indicate the new 1986 WA paint code but will still have the 1985 RPO order code. This has been verified for 1985 code 50 Yellow (went from code WA8740 to code WA8929) and 1985 code 75U Blaze Red (went from code WA8537 to code WA8774). I have attached two 1985 Camaro SPIDs that indicate the 1986 clear coat WA codes.
So, it is possible that some late production 1985 RPO 11U White Firebirds (not 1984) may have had the new 1986 clear coat code, WA8554 (RPO 40U), but still used the 1985 RPO 11U. Check the SPID label.
By the way, notice that both of the attached SPIDs indicate single-color cars, not two-tone. However, note that the color order RPO code is indicated twice - once for lower and once for upper (ie 75L 75U and 50L 50U). This was done in 1984 and 1985 only. Starting in 1986, the SPID of single-color cars indicated only an RPO code for an upper color, ie RPO 81U.

Re: 1984 trans am
Well, Frost Beige was the GM corporate name for the color. However, Firebird (and Camaro) called the 1983-84 code 59 (WA8509) color simply Beige. It was introduced late in the 1983 model year. It was not a clear-coated paint. Don't you wish you had your car? Pre-fire, of course. I wish I had all my 1980s rides. Good or bad. Even my 1981 Citation X-11.

Almost bought an identical version of that car 3 years ago, only 36k miles and WS6 with LG4. That is a sharp color combo and one of the best on the early cars IMO.

Re: 1984 trans am
A friend of mine years ago had an 84' T/A beige/gold with tan interior (L69, 5-speed, T-top, finned wheels). Nice looking car. It looked white until you parked it next to another white car, and then you could definitely see that it was beige.
