I have a 1985 Z28 that I purchased for parts a number of years ago. I was originally going to use it for the shell, but then another one came along that was already stripped. Pictures and a list of the RPO codes can be found here. Since these pictures, I've taken the following parts off the car: dash pad, wheels, doors and TPI runners. The doors on it now are from this car.

The quarters and floors are in great condition, absolutely no rot from the firewall back. The doors looked like new (which is why I took them). The doors on it now have some rust along the inner bottom in the typical spot. I started to repair one but my welding skills were not up to the task. The interior is complete, but is missing the radio. It needs a restoration or is a great candidate for a body swap if you have a rusty Camaro.

The car has been in my driveway under a tarp for about 6 years. It was last registered in 1999 in New Hampshire. It comes with a clean MA title, and all the parts needed to put it back together. I will also include a better looking hood.

Help me save this car from the junkyard. I've been holding onto it for so long because I don't want to see it crushed. Come and take a look and make an offer. If you are sincere about keeping it to fix up I might even let you take it for nothing.

 

hello. Loves your car and I'm definately in the market for another Camaro, even in it's present state. Likes the fact too that it has a clean mass title, and that it's located in Mass, ( also good things for me ).

Due to the holidays money will be tight this month, but some the first of the month, I will be in a better situation money wise, and I'll have this month to find a place to store it/work on it, ( I'm presently in school fr auto mechanics and I want to build a Third Gen Camaro for a daily driver so I Definately want to talk to you ).

i'd like to take a look at it, if you wouldn't mind, but i am very interested. I live in uxbridge, ma, and this seems like a pretty good candidate for my plan(wouldn't be hard to get it, etc,etc). My biggest concern, however, (having owned 4 camaro's in new england) is the condition of the body under the car.

 

What has saved this car from being further parted out or scrapped is the condition of the body. There is no rot in the quarters. I haven't pulled the carpet, but from the underside the floors appear rot-free. There is obviously some surface rust on the underside. This is a hardtop body so it doesn't have the typical leaks of a ttop.

This would be a great candidate for a body swap for someone who has a nice drivetrain/suspension but a rotted body. That was going to be my plan for it until I stumbled on the IROC shell.

The car is located in the Northeast corner of MA, near Haverhill. When and if someone wants to come and look at it I will pm you the address.
