Found another car.... This one is about an hour away. It is not an Iroc, but a very clean 1984 Z28 L69 car. The girl and her man purchased it about 8 months ago from the original owner, then they split up, and she kept the car. She parked it about 5 months ago and said when she went back in to start it, it would not start. They did put a charger on it, and got the instrument panel lights to work, but it would still not engage the starter. I am 99% sure it is the battery, and the charger was not left on long enough to get enough juice to start the car. Car is all there, it is really clean, no rust, 76k miles, and the interior is almost spotless. She is not a car girl and started out asking $8K. I am pretty sure I can get it bought for half that, $4K. Just looking for input, since it is not a stick, not an Iroc, is it work the $4k to roll the dice on....Sorry the photos are not better, but it was not a well lit garage. I did have a flashlight to look the car over though. The paint is good, any spots you see are dust bunnies, but she did have it under a car cover when I arrived.

If you think you can get it for 4K, grab it today! I mean TODAY.
Thanks! I put a battery in it, and she fired right up. Took a little drive all things works, seat, mirrors, windows, even the air. Pretty happy with the deal. I’ll throw some pictures up once I get it washed and a little cleaning done.
Here is a picture of the car in natural light. It has some paint issues (mirrors and top of doors), but overall it is a nice car for what I paid. The car is unwashed, as it arrived. The cardboard was dry, so nothing was dripping after sitting for a couple hours. Drove it an hour home, it held temp and oil pressure just fine.

I got the car cleaned up today. It has 4 small dents (1 hood, 3 behind the driver's side window). The mirrors are also poorly painted and there is a fixed spot on the window pillar. Overall, for $4K, i'm not complaining. It should not take much to get it back up to shape.
Got the bottom striping off of the car today. Heading to the PDR guy on Wednesday to drop the car off and have dents fixed and the bad spots in the paint. I have a new stripe kit with hood blackouts that I’ll install when I get it back. I do kind of like the simplicity without the lower stripes though…🤔
