AED 950HO on ZZ502. Tuning the transition slot running a bit rich at cruise. The options are reducing the Idle feed restrictor or enlarging the Idle Air bleed. I have read that the size of the idle air bleed impacts the timing of the transition from the transition slot fueling to the primary jet fueling. I cannot wrap my head around the how that works.

Perhaps someone could enlighten me as to the relationship between the size of the IAB and the timing of the implementation of primary jet fueling.

I've done my share of carb tuning over the years (and decades) and have good grasp on the cause and effect of the circuits involved.
