I removed this from my car about two years ago and I need to get it out of my garage. It was originally behind a stock 305 and then a 4.3, so it shouldn't have much abuse on it. I don't know the exact mileage, but I changed the fluid and filter after I bought the car and then put about 40,000 miles on it with no issues or fluid loss. I installed a B&M torque converter around that time as well, which I believe it is a 1800-2000 RPM converter, no issues with it and lockup works well. The converter alone was around $300-400 new, so more than the transmission is likely worth. It has been stored inside since pulled and all ports are plugged and fluid is still full. Dipstick and all cables included as pictured. The engine it was behind always had a slow oil leak, so the transmission is covered in gunk and would need a thorough degreasing. Make me an offer.
Man so close, yet so far. I live in South Bend Indiana. Having a spare 700r4 at home would be nice to have. But with mine still going strong I cant justify a day trip to the wife for a "just incase" spare transmission. Especially not with our awesome gas prices in a full size truck that gets 14mpg on the highway and requires premium gas.
