Does anyone make a replacement 635 decal for the F-body Harrison A/C compressor? Can buy the one made for G-Bodies, but is there one made for our F-cars?
My original compressor says "635" on the decal... Thanks, and apologies for the location of this.

AFAIK, no one makes a replacement/reproduction “635” decal for the R4 Harrison compressor. Your best bet is to go to a junkyard and get one out of a parts car like I did. However, these cars are basically slim to none in the yards now. When I got mine, ~ 20 years ago, there were a good number of 3rd gen F-bodies to choose from in the yards. I miss those days.

You can go on eBay and get one, but you will have to buy the whole compressor to get the decal. The ‘90-‘92 cars had a different decal on the R4 compressors. So, you will need to get an ‘89 and older version to get the “635” decal. I wish they made reproduction decals for these like the G-bodies.

I think other GM models during that time period had the R4 style compressors with the “635” decal, but I’m not sure which ones.

I still have my original compressor I could scavenge the decal off of, but I wanted to not have to do that... thought maybe there was a repo.

Well, crap. There sure needs to be one available.

Have a decal guy scan it and make you one. We do freedom battery decals, it’s not hard. Not free though, print a page and sell the rest. Keep a couple for yourself.

I carefully removed the decasl from my old compressor. At the time, my father gave me a roll of the very thin double sided tape that gets added to the paper used on medicine bottles. The tape is very thin and I added to the decal and applied it to my new compressor. It wasn't correct, but most people didn't have a clue. Except for Okfoz who caught it within 30 seconds of looking at my car the first time.

The compressor decals are done in a high temp resistant foil material. Do the decal guys do this? Last time I checked into it many years ago, I got the “deer in the headlights” look from all the places I went to.
