Cooling Fan back to stock?

Trying to get my fan back to the stock setup. It appears someone at some point wired a single fan to the fuse box, which I don’t like. As soon as accessory is turned on the fan kicks on. I have the wiring still in the car which I believe is these two plugs pictured below coming from a relay by the battery( guessing the car was stock 2 fans?). Where does the wiring come off to go to a temp switch?

Obviously previous owner switched it around for some reason, am I chasing an issue trying to revert back to the stock wiring. Or is there a better safer way than having it directly wired to fuse panel under the dash.
