Update on the Denton track

They are rebuilding the track into a much better one! This video we took earlier today shows their progress so far!

That good, just hope they fix the entrance road and the parking lot.
To bad they can not just make it a full 1/4-mile track.

They are extending the shut down area 700 feet. But they still don't have enough room for a 1/4mi. Reason being that a 1/4 mi track requires 3500 feet to shut down and they can not accomodate for that.
Now the track is going to start right next to the service road. The finish line will be where the starting line used to be, leaving more room to shut down.

Denton opened up last weekend. Traction is non-existant, though, as the track is not broken in yet.
I had slicks, and was doing some LONG burnouts, and still had tirespin. Ran an 8.0. I got into the 7's at Kennedale though.
I will not go to Denton for at least 3 months, so there will be plenty of rubber laid down by then.
Kennedale is 10 bucks, & women get in for free 5-9pm Sundays.
