if anybody needs some car audio stuff installed or designed, i can help. i can install head units, speakers, subs, amps and alarms. a few other things also if needed. i would charge less than a shop and discount for more jobs. just post if you need something.

do you have any amps w/ built-in crossover for sale? I need to buy one that can push about 200-300 watts in 3ohm mono.

 

i dont really have any equipment. i have an older model blaupunkt that im currently using as my sub amp that im thinking of selling. its pretty old though and i dont know if what it would do at 3ohm mono. i think it pushes 400 watts max at 4ohm. if you are interested i could give you some more info.

yeah i need some stuff install, i just havent found what i was looking for.

what im looking for is a police scanner and cd, im trying to figure out where to put them without tearing the dash and have to drill holes into the dash.....you got ideas??

also want to install a eq 1/2din into the space where my 1 din is so i can take up that nasty looking holder around the radio


can u tell whats wrong with amps...power buttons turns red but nothing else happens....every amp ive plugged into the old wires kills all the amps the same way

over the next couple of weeks ill need some of these things installed.

man, you got a lot to accomplish there now dont ya? lets see if i can answer some of those questions...

did you mean a CB? those things may be difficult to mount w/o drilling but i could probably do it. i would have to check out what ya got before i can really answer that question.

on the eq, do you want to put it w/ the stereo to take up the full 1 1/2 din space? i was gonna do that to mine but i ran outta money before i could get the eq. if that is what you want to do, i have an idea on how to accomplish that.

your amp problem sounds like a problem w/ the wiring. my explanations for what that could be would be purely circumstancial until i could take a look at the wiring scheme though.

i gotta question about it though, does it ruin the amps or will they just not work?

first i havent found a cb or a police scanner yet..plus they are expensive(scanners) and dont have the money yet

yes i was talking about adding a 1/2 din eq along with cd player

as the amp problems...emark tested it and said doesnt work but i havent open it up to look at yet...

but as for wiring it originally came with a 50watt alpine amp and crossover that powered a bazokka cannon (didnt sound that bad)

but then after a year or so it just stop working so i bought a new amp and some 12s and hooked them to the orginal wiring, which isnt done very well and i want to replace it all

after the second amp went out the minute i turned on the car ...then i got it tested

so i think theres a short somewhere in the system
