Cool. I am really at the point know with this car where I need to do a custom chip. I have the reprogrammmable chips, chip burner and software on my laptop. I don't have a cable to connect to the car to get data, and I don't have the know how to burn the chip. With the Superram intake and headers, IM sure I could gain a lot by tuning changes.

If I can get some new collector gaskets on, I should be able to. Gotta take out a small loan though to put gas in it. The woman wants to go to the local pontiac dealer to look at the GTO they have so I'm not 100% sure yet.

That GTO
is a shame upon the original (IMO). Doesn't look muscular aaat all. But, If you got the money....... Decent looking family car though.

I'm getting home tomorrow afternoon. My brother and I are going to hit-up the local hangout later tomorrow night, but I can probably make it up there for a couple of hours. What time will everyone be there?
Well, I'm not going to be able to make it. I have a possible buyer coming to look at my car.
AND before everyone goes screaming about me selling my car, it's for a good cause. I won't say any more until I know the deal is going through but let's just say I'll be a couple steps closer to having an LS1 powered thirdgen <insert evil laughter>

Wow, it was nice that everyone showed up.
There were 2 other thirdgens that showed up. Neither one of them were members of the boards. One of them I met earlier in the week at Wallmart. Sorry no pics.

I was just gonna let him use my relay to take the car back to the shop, but it was a different number on the relay, WEIRD
especially since our cars are almost the same.

It wasnt just a relay. The relay socket for the fan relay was melted.... I brought him my old TBI harness (for the socket) and a new relay this afternoon, so maybe next week.
It'll be at least mid-april before I get my pile to a show. I've pretty much decided on having my spare 700R4 rebuilt, just not sure who's going to do it, or what parts are going to go into it...

Well damn, I showed up there at 8:15..
Anyway, there is a quite a stir in the air of having a HRP run. A bunch of guys are all wanting to do it. I really need to get some new #'s on the bird. Oh, rematch? Deffinitely seeing as how the bird is running WAY better than even when I raced you in Dec.
Yes, I did get a new number, sorry for not updating you. I will send you a PM.

I was getting ready to head up there on Saturday and I noticed a pretty big puddle of transmission fluid right below my recently installed TH350. I spend the evening trying to figure out where it was coming from. I looks like its coming from the tranny dipstick. I bought a Chrome dipstick specifically for a TH350 at the auto parts store and dropped it off at the shop. The Dipstick mechanic that installed the tranny apparently didn't get it in right. I noticed there was some black Silicone around it that was coming off in my hand. Apparently he saw it wasn't going to seal, put the silicone, then when it got hot, the silicone came off and it started leaking. Its not a huge leak, but its very annoying.
Hopefully next week we can try it again

Sorry guys, I had car problems. The car got upto almost 260 degrees!! (no fans)
Ended up hardwiring a switch in to make it back upto the shop.
Scott was kind enough to bring me a pigtail and a relay to replace the burned up ones.
We'll try again next weekend. Hopefully more us will be able to show up (including myself).
