Anyone know where I can get my heads ported and polished for a good price around Houston. I decided I want to change a few things on my heads before I get the motor running at the end of the month and I dont want to take them back to place where I got them because the guy there is extremely busy and wont have them ready on time. Anyone know a good place to go? I appreciatte your help.

Thanks Zap, and I know what you mean about them being busy means that they are probably good. But the guy I used before is farther than I would like to drive and he wants a little more than I am willing to pay to do the minor work I want done. I am basically just trying to see if any of you guys knows of a good place, if not I will probably use my previous guy. Thanks Zap.

Look up Whately's phone # in the book and give him a call! He's not too far from Katy. 290 and Beltway 8 area--Hempstead and Gessner in an office/ wharehouse center that I used to have my business in for 8/9 years.

G and G Performance in Tomball.
Ask for Joe
Tell him that Mike with the black 1991 Z-28 sent you.
They are pricey, but they can port some heads. And they have a flow bench.

Price is pretty much my number one problem right now. I know that when it comes to car parts you shouldnt just get the cheapest stuff, but I gotta get the best bang for the buck. Thanks for the help guys I am going to give G and G a call in the mourning.Originally posted by 1bad91Z

Yeah Mike you werent kidding about pricey. They wanted $450 to open up my combustion chambers 2 more cc's and to do a basic pocket port job. When you said pricey I was thinkin like $250. Well back to the drawing board.
