Need your help

I have been trying to find a set of 3.45 gears for the GM 9-bolt. If anyone out there has a set or knows of anyone who is ready to sell, please let me know.

I would like a good set, without cuts or and damage to the ring and pinion.

Thanks,

Daniel

Yeah, I saw those, but they are damaged and grenading a rear end is not my idea of fun. That and miles got out of doing 9-bolt stuff and wont return any email. He should just take that site down if he isn't going to use it.

Any more ideas for places that I can check?

I was going to use 3.70, but the 5-speed that I bought needs a rebuild, and I have been wanting 3.45 for a long long time. I was hoping that someone knew of some that were available.

3.70 would take me out of my power range too fast, it would be worthless to me to only hit the second half of the band after the shift.

Miles is still doing rearend stuff just not his bread and butter ... you have to imagine being one of a few that can get 9 bolt parts ...... so he gets lotsa mail from people just like me and you ... did you look at pictures of the 345 the damage is not in a place that will cause to much of a strength problem ...... just a little fyi he mailed me a pic of his proto type cover for our rears looks nice will find it and post it soon, as far as breaking i bought 4 sets of axles and 2 series 2 carriers when i built my new 355 with a 300 shot thinking it would grenade on first hard pass ......well over 300 lps of nos and at least 50 11 teen passes getting a little lose .... but still cutting 1:75to 1:69 60 ft

Those are some pretty sweet time. Yeah I say the pictures but when I emailed him about them, he said he didn't have them anymore.

I guess at least upgrade to 3.27 for now and keep an eye out for a 3.45 set.

Thanks
