New Hou. area Thirdgen Member Drive?
I am always seeing thirdgens (some crappers--some not) but some really nice ones from time to time, and I was thinking about making up a couple "flyers", to keep in the console, that says nothing more than:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
https://www.thirdgen.org/
+
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/for...id=32&x=13&y=9
A Website dedicated strictly to thirdgen (1982 to 1992) Camaros and Firebirds!

If U do not have internet access, call for more info:
Craig Landry

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
U could personalize it by putting your own phone number if U want, or U can list mine if U do not want your # circulating around town!
If we could get one of the people on this board, that is good at computer crap, to make up a nice one, would anybody else be interested in handing out a flyer-- sticking one under a windshield, ETC.--or would I be the only one that would go to the trouble of doing something like this?
Unfortunately the TGO board automatically chops the length on the the long web addresses, so if U make your own from what I have posted above or if somebody makes one up for us to use, need to make sure the second address is complete.

to be honest maybe we could come out with a flyer, pass them out on the fourteenth, then everyone who shows will have one to pass around. i have a employee who has a 90 rs that she is getting repainted soon. i have told her about the site, have yet to see her on. i also told laura89iroc about it and i see her here some. there are alot of thirdgens out in the katy area that i see. if we can get a flyer together ill get them out. ill even donate copy money or whatever we need. put me down. can someone put together the flyer , print it up , then fax it to me so i can make copies and have them ready for the 14th.

I think everyone should keep a few with them in case they run into someone.............you can always leave it on the windshield, although I hate that sh*t.

I think we do need to go ahead and make up some kind of simple flyer to hand out to new thirdgenners.
WE NEED SOMEBODY ON THE TGO BOARD THAT IS COMPUTER SAVY, TO MAKE UP A SIMPLE FLYER THAT WE CAN HAND OUT!
I think it should contain something like the following:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
"A web site devoted to Thirdgen (1982 to 1992) Camaros + Firebirds"
Web address of TGO home page
Web address of South Central board (the one we post on here)
Regional area discussion bulletin board
Monthly meets/gatherings
Technical information bulletin boards
Log on and join in.
If U do not have internet access call:
Craig Landry--713-723-6393--for more info:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I am willing to put my name and # out in public for people to call--IF U GUYS THINK THAT IS APPROPIATE!
Something very simple is all that is needed, but any additions such as background pics of thirdgens are optional--any additional suggestions for info needed, or wording, are invited.
Comments, suggestions?
ANY VOLUNTEERS?
