Still looking.................

Anybody have a running IROC (85-90) in or near the DFW area?
I 'll give my 2 camaros for one.
A 1991 Z28 L98 350TPI auto ,nice Red paint. solid car. barely runs and runs crappy. May need a rebuild. Has bad gas in the tank.
and a 1992 RS 305TBI auto that needs paint, has black interior. Daily driver. passed emissions. has salvage title but runs and drives fine.
Pics are in the "cars wanted" section.
I've been searching blind.

not on Ebay, but I seen one red Iroc in autotrader asking $3250.
don't look too bad, but I need to either sell or trade both mine at the same time since the white one is the only ride I have at the moment. I dont want to give the red 91Z28 away since its a solid car and the worst case scenario would be an engine. So selling both I hoped to get enough $ to at least get me a decent Iroc I could drive

The 92 RS......she's up there...188,943
It gets me to and fro everyday and everything works a/c etc.
It can be a good daily driver or somebody can use the parts if they didnt want to fool with the idea of it having a salvage title.

The red 91Z28 has 106,699.
I still need to tinker with it to get it to run right. But with at least 2 year old gas in it is hard.

i'll get some better shots of the 92 RS in few mins when I go outside.

As far as the 91Z28. I'm going to try and pump the bad gas out of it this weekend and clear out the fuel lines etc. also, it seems like the cats (has 2 of them) may be stopped up also by the way it bogs down when i rev it. They get hot quick .

Here it is after a day of running around.

it has the IROC hood (I have the louvers inside) has the earlier model leather wrapped steering wheel. I didnt like the airbag 1.
and 4th gen seats. and a good dashpad. Has a crack in the corner of the front spoiler. Passed emissions.
Like I say, a good daily driver or its a complete parts car if wanted.

I'm interested in the red 1991 Z-28. PM me with a price and we'll talk. I can come and pick it up so you wont have to ship.

well, I dont want to sell it alone.
Trying to use them both for a trade for one car (Iroc 85-90).
I'll consider rebuilding the motor (if necessary) in the red one if a trade does not happen. I couldnt get enough for it like it is to buy one.

IMO, U might really have a hard time finding somebody that has an IROC to trade for your 2. It seems like if I had people interested in buying one or the other, I'd go for it, IF u could work out your daily transportation needs! And I know that's a BIG IF!

You have a point.

However, it didnt hurt to give it a shot just to see what bites are there.
NoItsNotForSale.....I would if I can find me fast scooter to get me to work and back. but thats 30 miles one way. That car has 188,000+ and purrs like a cat on xanax. Its been good to me thus far.
I'm going to give the red Z28 a thorough looking over tomorrow and sunday and clear out the fuel lines, drain the tank and check the injectors and give her a shot. I may just go ahead and throw up my hands, forget about a trade and just repair the 91Z. I wish I could sell or part out the 92RS to get the $$ for an engine. Maybe locally I could do a car for engine trade. If I had another vehicle I would start parting the 92 out now. Or sell it. The red one is really growing on me and I hate to let such a solid and conmplete Z28 sit like that. I just need to raise the cash to repair it. But I need to find out what the issues are with it. Like I said, it cranks up, runs, but its weak, like it bogs down due to a clogged up cat (has 2) plus the fact that it has 2 year old bad gas.
Lemme get a better idea of the red one and I'll let you guys know what i want to do.
Thanx for your interest

Car: 87-Z r.i.p & 93-Z sold 99s-10
Engine: 305 TPI , 350 LT1, 2.2 4cylinder
Transmission: 700 R4, 4l60, ?
hey would you like to trade that 92 Rs for a 93 Z with the Lt1 ? If you interested call me at 832-398-2662 RUdy if no answer leave a message. A few details bout the 93 it runs awsome just needs some front suspension work but it also has a salvage title. One idea would be for you to swap that Lt1 into that 92 Z and add a couple of horses
