Houston Area Junk Yards?

Anyone know which ones have a good supply of 3rd-gens and preferably, let you pull your own parts?

Which is your favorite and where is it?

I'd probably start with the Yellow Pages and make a couple phone calls.

I usually hit the pick a part close to west road and I 45. But make sure you go into the later model section too. Also If you look Espana Auto salvage, if they dont have it theyll "red line" for the part you want. But always bargain with them.

There is a u-pull it on cullen blvd (just east of 288). North of beltway 8 about a mile. It will be on the east side of cullen. I saw an early model 3rd gen there and 2 4th gens a few weeks ago.

Sounds like a likely place. Where exactly is it? Can you see it from the freeway?

No, you cant, is in a small street, wich I dont know the name. You can look it up on the yellow pages for Pick a Part . I think there is only 2 maybe 3 in houston. If you are going I 45 south on the feeder, you pass west road, and when you see a music store, you make a right on that street and you take all the way to the end.

Pick a Part, South Shaver in Pasadena, always have about 10/12 cars there. You have to be quick to get any good stuff. I got a rear bumper cover, front chin spoiler, hatch pull down motor, and shifter plate for my 91 all for $65.
