The April Hou. area Thirdgen Monthly Meet will be at "Willie's Grill & Icehouse (281-991-1400)--Beltway 8 + Vista RD--Saturday --4/15/06--5:30 to 6:30/7pm.
It's 2 or 3 exits north of 45 on beltway 8--there is a vista exit--I think it's actually Fairmont Pkwy/Vista exit.
Since a couple people suggested this place earlier, I had a chance to check it out while I was out running around this weekend. This looks like a GREAT place for a monthly!
Plenty of parking --BEER --Indoor/outdoor seating -- good food/reasonable prices --BEER -- good location/easy access (on beltway 8 feeder road).
Since the SE group of "members" is the largest we have and since there have been a number of new Hou area thirdgenners (many in this area), I hope we will have a good turnout.
Many times we usually go do something as a group afterwards, I am thinking about crusing down to the Saturday night cruise-in/car show at 2094 and 146 afterwards. This would be a good cruise-- good place to hang out and check out all the cool cars that go to the show--good place to hand out flyers for the 2006 Spring Fling to any thirdgens we see down there.
If anybody else has any suggestions for something else to do afterwards--SPEAK UP!

I will not be in town this weekend. I'm going home to Mississippi. I guess thats another one I will miss. Ya'll don't let Barry talk too bad about me!
BTW, Page 12 of my form 1040 states that taxes are due April 17'th this year.
Also, Zap, I went to Sam's club this weekend and I didn't see you. I thought
you were there every Sat. night. I stopped at Otto's on my way home and they seemed to have more cars there.

Sue and I went out to the Niftee Fiftee's (at Spring Cypress & Champions Forest) show last Sat, and then swung by Otto's to see if there was any thirdgens to hand out flyers to--didn't see any, so we went home. Yes, there did seem like more cars there than before--good weather brings them out! We do not necessarily go out to Sam's every week--more like every other week.

I plan on attending the SF. I've been cleaning the car in anticipation. I even waxed the underhood portions that were large enough to get to. Watch out Daniel, I'm gunning for the cleanest engine.

Yep, it's 6:15 and I'm not there. Looks like I'll have to wait for the next one to see everyone.
