Where do i get a nine bolt gear????!!!!
O.k. here it is I went home a few weeks ago after being gone for five months and drove my car for a few days. Then the temp. fell and it was time to play, opened the bottle, squeezed a shot to it and the gear went like a frag grenade. I've been looking on summit and jegs websites and still i can not find a nine bolt gear! Can anone give me a idea of where to get one for my car?

randy's ring and pinion, I have bought 4 different applications from them in the last 6 months, and all have gone together flawlessly, I will get you my contact's name tomorrow, it's at the shop.
I am guessing they have something for the 9 bolt, I've bought some specialized stuff recently, but I don't know for sure.
I think my guy's name there is jason, but if they don't have it, he'll know where to get it,
and thier prices are really good.
9 bolts are 7.75, right??

First off, Welcome Home Jerimy.
I know High Performance Pontiac mag had a source for them a few (12?) months ago. The BW 9-bolt is an Aussie product, I think there was only one source recently in the States, and that may well be the Randy's mentioned above.
Good job blowing it up!

Looks like Drive Train Specialists have a 9-bolt 3.70 ring and pinion for $340.....
GM > GM 7.75 (9 Bolt Borg-Warner) > R&P > DTS 01-878370BW (3.70)

When I first got on this board, one of the first things I ws told ws to use the serch feature. It has bailed me out of many situatons where I needed info. In this case (see below) I went to advanced search--entered 9bolt in search--and clicked on "in titles only"--all forums. Yeah u will have to read thru a bunch of different threads, but I guarantee U will find all the info U will ever want to know about the subject U enter....and then some. Try it--it works!

Good luck getting the car back on the road. If U need somebody to actually set up the rear end, contact Owen at ARD!

From I-10 and highway 6, go north past Keith Harrow till you reach Addicks Satsuma. Take a right turn and go about 100 yards down, and you will see the sign and it is located on the left in a business park.
