OK Emissions?

Can anyone explain to me if there are any emissions laws in OK? I am looking for a cheap 92 Z28 for resto and wondered if i would be able to build a new motor without having to worry about emissions?

I'm not from the US so not familiar with the state laws.. A brief rundown would be fantastic

Cheers,
Richard.

Just have to put quite mufflers on for the inspection

What about Catalytic convertors? Are they a requirement at all, only after a certain year maybe?

Cheers,
Richard.

Absolutely no emissions. I have no cats, headers and a full 3" exhaust.. bought the car awhile back, it's registered and legal, and I never had to do ANY emissions.

I've never even heard of noise emissions, I'm sure mine would not pass that if there were any.

I have run straight headers with no problems. Just dont get on it around the cops, $90 noise pollution ticket. No inspections either...whatso ever. I have heard that we are going to start doing inspections again sometime...dunno bout it though.

emmisions are suppose to be on and in working order but no one checks them anymore. besides when they did do them a few yrs back it was nothing to pay an extra $10 to get the ol sticker shoved in the glass for a non pasing car. Dont ask how i know
